*BOUNDARY WORKSHOP* I found the Boundaries Workshop to be very helpful. I believe that when you do something practically, you remember it better. Tillie has a way of making you really think and conveying the message and session in such a good and beautiful way. Having completed similar sessions elsewhere previously, I was originally sceptical of the I3 Profiling approach, because of personality traits and strengths/weaknesses. This enables me as a Manager to focus on getting the best from our staff because I can refer back to the profiling for an explanation of particular outcomes and alter my approach where necessary accordingly. I am driven to succeed and perhaps can “bulldoze” the successful outcome, and as a result of this, not bring the team with me. This team coaching has made me reflect on how better I can bring the individuals in a team with me yet still gain the results needed. I altered my approach to get the best out of each individual. I am a 20-year-old guy at university and have been working with her as a coach for almost a year and have seen tangible change and progress in my life. When I did the trait-based profile at the start, it felt like this was the first time I was ever able to understand myself properly and the reasoning behind some of the things I do. Secondly something else that has been extremely useful is learning how to set boundaries for myself, it has helped me become far more controlled and also present in my daily life. I cannot recommend Tillie as a coach enough, especially for a younger person. I always knew that I had so much potential but that I was willing to waste it on things that did not bring any value to my life, may that be to my health, relationships, career, and skills. After my family and I immigrated to Germany, I went through a terrible time emotionally. I was struggling to find my way and rebuild a life filled with all the zest I had before. I posted on a Facebook group anonymously as my last resort to getting some outside perspective and out of sheer desperation for needing change within myself. Tillie was one of the many comments and something about her reply stuck with me enough to reach out to her. And so the journey began. I hoped to understand myself and become the best version of myself and to focus on personal growth to the highest degree. From the first call, the way Tillie interpreted me and what I needed was what stood out for me. The fact that she is also an amazing person helps too! I am so proud of how my perspective has changed and how I have stepped out of my black-and-white viewpoint and learnt to understand myself and in turn others. Tillie has helped me gain back control over my life by equipping me with various tools to deal with my day-to-day. She has also helped me open my eyes to the many perspectives one can take on when trying to make sense of complicated scenarios and understanding people. I have gained so much value in unpacking my personality profile and by gaining an understanding of my core values which not only tested me on how well I know myself but has also bettered the way in which I engage with people in my inner circle along with those I come in contact with in my daily activities. One of the many things I have appreciated about my experience with Tillie is how easy it is to be vulnerable with her. Our sessions were based on trust from the outset and in turn, this created an ideal, safe space for me to get real and to speak freely without the fear of feeling like I will be judged. I also really enjoyed the pace at which my journey unfolded, the sequence of things and how every tool, lesson or application was so relevant to my life at any given point in time. It was amazing to see how everything came together in our final sessions and how all the intricacies of my thinking patterns, behaviours, values, strengths, blind spots and personality traits were all intertwined! My coaching experience is one of an “ongoing success story.” I entered into coaching at an emotionally burnt out stage, not expecting anything – if not just a little emotional healing. Through the process of coaching with Tillie and doing my personality profiles on different platforms, I found myself again in the confirmation of whom I am in an unexpected but “ah-ha” way. To know one’s self in a good way is like looking in the mirror and like what you are seeing. To know your core values is fundamental to delve into the “self” and that leads to growth and emotional wellbeing. The biggest achievement for our team was an understanding of each person’s work ethic, the ways and means to communicate interdepartmental and, most importantly, understanding the best way to achieve success in the team by communicating effectively. Our team communication improved through understanding each person’s professional method of working, which improved our way of achieving success. It is a continual growth process; however, this gave us the tools to work more in unison. The intensive face-to-face Team Dynamix workshop had the most impact and truly opened people’s eyes to their peers. It was enlightening and also uplifting. I met Tillie by chance in 2023, and this started a new life journey for me. I was under the impression coaching was for the young executives, kind of “new age” and not for me. I messaged her and she said, “let’s have a little chat”. That was the start of my coaching experience. I had not worked for about 13 years and needed to reinvent myself whilst fitting in with my family’s needs. Coaching with Tillie started in December 2023, I think one session and then maybe 3 or 4 at the beginning of 2024. I was then diagnosed with breast cancer. Tillie became part of my super team throughout 2024, I often cried, I laughed and I healed. Her compassion and understanding were limitless; I am so thankful that she came in to my life just before I needed that space for myself. The few sessions we had before my diagnosis helped me to understand myself in a way I had never before. She did a personality analysis that I refer to often to understand how I navigate life and my interactions with family, friends, fellow students and clients. Tillie helped me identify what I was passionate about, what was important to me and where I should start my move forward. She found a course for me to look at, and I studied for 6 months at the beginning of 2025. It was beyond challenging but also life changing for me. And it has taught me things about myself; other people I interact with and has started me off on a learning experience at 56 years old. I have said I would take a break this year as my daughter needs me and that is what is important to me. But because I stared learning last year, I have decided to learn a language this year. I am doing Spanish in my year off and I am loving it. Had I not gone to coaching and not studied last year I would never have thought to learn a new language. I love it and am hoping to speak by the end of 2026. Thank you Tillie for giving me the confidence to get back out there, use my intellect again, take time and achieve for myself.

I’ve always believed that women need a village. For most of my life, I didn’t have one. And for a long time, I tried to be strong enough to carry everything on my own. Then I met Tillie. When our paths crossed, my life was in pieces. I was in the middle of an acrimonious divorce that had stretched over three exhausting years. I had endured five miscarriages that had left deep wounds in my heart. And I was in a job that had broken me down so completely that I barely recognised the woman I had become. I was surviving, but I wasn’t living. And then Tillie stepped into my life. What Tillie offers goes far beyond guidance or coaching. She creates a space where you feel seen, understood and supported – sometimes for the first time in a very long time. She became my rock, my anchor and quite literally the village I never had. Through my journey with Tillie, I began to rediscover myself. She helped me understand who I am, how I move through the world, and why I had spent so much of my life shrinking myself to make space for others. Most importantly, she taught me something that changed everything: I matter too. With her support, I learned how to set boundaries, how to stand my ground with confidence, and how to reclaim my voice and my peace without apology. Little did I realise how much I needed it myself. The topic, namely How to Set Boundaries, is something my daughter struggles with, until I sat there and realised that I also need to learn how to do it effectively and successfully. I had hoped to learn through information, but also through examples, what the principle entails. I hoped it would be something that could be applied in practice and not just sound good on paper. My expectations were definitely met and even exceeded. Tillie has a very good way of communicating and conveying information so that it’s easy to understand. I learned that setting boundaries doesn’t have to be negative, even with the people closest to you. I learned that one should take a step back and think before speaking. Just the way in which exactly the same message is conveyed can make a huge difference in creating harmony rather than conflict. After the course, I no longer feel guilty about setting boundaries-especially not when it’s done in the way described in the course. I realise that boundaries are healthy for both parties. I feel more confident. I no longer want to wonder whether I offended someone, because I know that if I handled it correctly, it was necessary. I think Tillie addressed many issues that commonly present themselves in our daily lives. The question-and-answer session was very productive. Also, hearing what others struggle with made me realise that people generally deal with very similar issues. That way, one could benefit not only from your own question but also from others’ questions. There was nothing negative about the presentation for me. Since the course, I’ve already told several people about what I learned, and I recommend that everyone attend at least one course. Tillie is amazing. Our roads crossed just at the right time and I am so thankful I met her. She helped me so much, especially with boundaries (something I was struggling with a lot). You think you know yourself, but I learned so much in the process of working with her and it helped tremendously – not only in my personal life but work as well. Although I am still sometimes struggling to say no and very easily feel guilty when I do, I am definitely growing into a person with better boundaries and less anxiety. Our company went through a particularly challenging period, with a number of staff changes and different personalities trying to work together. At times, it was difficult for us to understand one another, and there was also uncertainty around roles, responsibilities, management expectations and boundaries. Tillie came into our company at a very important time. She started by having individual sessions with each of us, helping us understand our different personalities, how we communicate, why people respond to situations in certain ways, and how we could better understand and work with one another. During this period, our entire office also relocated, and we went through a number of significant changes within the business, including a retrenchment process. Tillie played an incredibly valuable role in helping us navigate these difficult conversations and situations in a professional and respectful manner. She also assisted us with understanding and establishing healthy boundaries, and we completed a course with her which was extremely beneficial to our team. We found Tillie at a time when my oldest daughter was struggling to ‘find’ her place in the world. She had been elected to a position of leadership at university and was struggling with a particular colleague and the power dynamics at play. Tillie was absolutely incredible at coaching and mentoring her through the year and has honestly shaped the young woman she has become. My daughter amazes me with her awareness, her grounding, and the boundaries she is able to put in place in many aspects of her life. Tillie played a big hand in shaping her into the person she had become. Tillie has been a constant source of unbiased reason and mentorship in her life, seeing her through a difficult move overseas and more recently a challenging promotion at work. My daughter has chosen to continue working with Tillie as she has moved into her own independence. My youngest daughter started seeing Tillie last year, after completing her degree and feeling a little lost as to her next steps. She went through the initial foundational program which she absolutely loved and has also chosen to continue working with Tillie. Tillie is coaching and mentoring her through these next steps into adulthood, and I couldn’t be more grateful. This has been one of the most fruitful experiences I have had as a young adult thus far. After 8 months into this journey with Tillie, I can already see the immeasurable value that coaching has. It empowered me to not only manage my time more efficiently but has taught me so much about myself that it makes it easier for me to complete tasks without procrastinating or getting stuck too long on one objective. Knowing more about my deeper self allows me to manage situations and challenges in a way that demands less emotional and mental stress. The coaching approach used by Tillie is something special. It’s not the traditional idea of coaching that I had experience with, where someone teaches you a new set of skills in order to do certain tasks. This approach is more guidance than teaching and that is the very thing that makes it so brilliant for me. It empowers me to be confident in who I am and what I know and also boosts my self-belief. Tillie guides me and brainstorms with me to get to the answers to the problems I have. It is not her solution, but mine and to me, that is the beauty of it. I didn’t know how to tap into my talents to enable a rich and successful life. I was influenced by the energies of others, be it positive or negative. I needed to discover my true worth. I needed to learn how to walk away. I needed to use my strengths to benefit my life, personally and in my career. Tillie approached me to be part of her studies. I agreed, knowing deep down that I needed to change something about my life. We spoke a lot about everything that has or was influencing my life. She gave me tasks and questionnaires to do, which were very interesting and educational. After a few exercises and long discussions, things started to click. My life started to be better. During that time, I experienced so many major changes in my life. I think being in your twenties can be a particularly difficult time to navigate, and through working with Tillie I’ve learned so many valuable lessons and gained practical tools that help me move through life with more clarity and confidence. I was looking for a coach and found some people on Bark. Tillie was the only person who phoned me and that impressed me a lot, I knew she would go the extra mile to help me. I went for a session to meet her and we clicked straight away. Tillie helped me to grow as a person, she has such good energy and for the first time I could feel like I could really open up to someone, just by talking to her and her guidance I learned a lot about myself and I cannot thank her enough. Tillie helped me gain the confidence to accept myself, flaws and all. I used to have this image in my head that I can’t be loved if I’m not perfect, and she showed me that I am perfect in my own way and that I should embrace the things that make me unique. It might sound cliche, but it changed my life. I loved how she was always there for me, if I went through something I struggled with, she was always open for a WhatsApp or a call and never made me feel like I am bothering her. I have been seeing Tillie Smit from iCoach for over a year, and I can honestly say that my journey with her has been life-changing. When I first started coaching with Tillie, I was feeling stuck and uncertain about the direction I wanted my life to take. I had a difficult past that I needed to work through, and I wanted to understand myself better, find growth within myself and, most importantly, find some direction for my future and career. One of the things I really wanted to discover was what I truly enjoyed and how I could turn that into something meaningful and, ultimately, a source of income. Through my journey with Tillie, I have gained a much deeper understanding of why I see and experience life the way I do. I have discovered more about who I am, what makes me happy and what truly inspires me. I have always loved beautiful things and have a passion for interiors and creating beautiful spaces, but through coaching I was able to recognise that this could be more than just an interest. With Tillie’s guidance, encouragement and support, I made the decision to study for an Interior Design Diploma, and I am now about to launch my own interior design business – something I may never have had the confidence or clarity to pursue before. I am incredibly grateful to Tillie for walking alongside me through this journey.
